We’re looking to add a couple of people for 16 man operations, since this is our first recruitment foray in Star Wars (and on the Vulkar Highway server), I guess we should introduce ourselves.

Who we are:

Internet Champions is a PvE progression guild that was formed during World of Warcraft’s beta during Summer of 2004 and has grown from a core of friends that have played together since that time. We’ve raided in World of Warcraft throughout its existence and have made the jump into SWTOR at release, at the heart of the guild we’re simply a relaxed raiding guild that wants to kill stuff at our own pace, have fun and not be surrounded by a bunch of assholes while doing it.

What we’re looking for:

Role #1: DPS (Mercenary, Marauder, Operative, Sniper pref)
Role #2: Heals or DPS/Heals (Mercenary, Sorcerer)

The classes listed above are just what we’d prefer, if you think you’re a good player and we’re a good fit for you and you play something different, you can still apply. We’ll always make something work for a good non-asshat player, regardless of class.

Our ideal applicant would have these qualities:

- Someone who can raid Tue/Wed/Sun 9:30-12:30 (EST)
- Drama/Emo Free
- A sense of humor
- Is dedicated, responsible, willing to learn
- Prior MMO/Raiding experience
- Friendly, Respectful, Hardworking Player who will mesh well with the current members
- Has ventrilo and a working mic
- Is Mature (18 or older) preferably

The last friday update before launch features the Sith Inquisitor Progession Video.

Feared across the galaxy for both their mastery of the Dark Side of the Force™ and their ability to manipulate those around them, even those within the Empire know to watch themselves when in the presence of a Sith Inquisitor. Some acolytes who complete the trials use their newfound powers to channel the Force into devastating mental and lightning attacks. Others command the Force to deceive their enemies both in conversation and on the battlefield.

Also, Bioware announced on twitter that all guilds who were eligible for pre-placement will receive their server details on Monday. So, I’ll have my fingers cross for the Moomoo Williwaw server!

This week’s Star Wars: The Old Republic Friday Update gives us the Imperial Agent progression video. The video gives a look at both of the Agent’s Advanced Classes, the Operative (Melee DPS & Heals) and the Sniper (Ranged DPS). The Imperial Agent is the funnest class I’ve played in SWTOR beta, so if you’re undecided give it a look.

Through cunning, stealth, and ruthless tactics, the Imperial Agent has no shortage of ways to complete his objectives. Even so, as the complexity and importance of his missions increase, the Agent will have to acquire new skills and equipment to help him combat the ever-growing threat to the Empire. This video shows you a sampling of the many different armors and abilities the Imperial Agent can obtain as he travels the galaxy

And finally there was an update to the official pre-order page, which sheds some light on “Early Game Access” for pre-orders. Early Access “may be up to 5 days” (December 15th), but it all depends on when you pre-ordered your copy. If you pre-ordered relatively early, chances are you’ll get 4-5 days of early access, if you just recently pre-ordered then you might only get 1-2 days etc.

Totalbiscuit has 15 minutes of HD gameplay on the Smuggler class, which shows off their origin world and the cover mechanics. The smuggler is comparable to the Empire class the Imperial Agent, but instead of a blaster pistol the Agent uses a sniper rifle.

In the interview TotalBiscuit shows off his awesome hat in an interview with Gabe Amatangelo, the lead PVE designer for SWTOR. He talks about several different modes for operations (Normal, Hardmode and Nightmare mode?) and talks about their newly announced warzone, Huttball.

This is the English version of the trailer for the new PvP Warzone: The Pit, which features Huttball…the CTF/Football gametype that they debuted the other day at Gamescom. If the announcer is actually part of the warzone and not just in the trailer it might be fun. Rotworms and Frogdogs are pretty lame team names, no matter how you cut it though.

TotalBiscuit did an interview with Steven Reid (@Rockjaw) the Senior Community Manager for Star Wars: The Old Republic and did so while Mr. Reid showed off the Sith Warrior Origin World of Korriban. It’s 25 minutes or so of content, in HD…so it’s pretty decent stuff, if you don’t mind 2 brits talking all throughout it

Also known as “Huttball”, they unveiled this new warzone today at Gamescom. The presentation is in German, but if you ignore that, you’ll notice the ball being passed around, the different obstacles (fire wall) and the Monday Night Combatesque “announcer” in the background.

They had a Eternity Vault (end game raid instance) demo today at Gamescom, nothing earth-shattering but you can see actual gameplay of the first boss. They waited for the guy speaking to hit certain points, so its kinda slow…but better than nothing

If you notice at the end, in the Eternity Vault teaser video there is a Chiss working on a control panel like thing with what looks like a puzzle while others are fighting around him. If there is a puzzle boss, I’m hereby voting for Cinnaa for Puzzle Main Tank.

The second video is a more detailed look and they don’t wipe in phase 2.
